Jewelry Care Guide
Your GT collection jewelry is crafted from carefully selected materials, including Grade A semi-precious gemstones, brass and titanium steel.
Each piece is designed to be worn with purpose. With the right care, it will preserve its appearance and character for longer.
Daily Care
To protect your jewelry:
- Remove it before showering, bathing or swimming.
- Do not wear it while sleeping, exercising or playing sports.
- Avoid contact with water, sweat, perfume, cosmetics, lotions and chemicals.
- Put your jewelry on after applying fragrances and skincare products.
- Avoid dropping or striking it against hard surfaces.
Even durable materials can be affected by moisture, friction and everyday wear.
Cleaning
Gently wipe your jewelry with a clean, soft and dry cloth after wearing it.
Do not wash, soak or rinse your jewelry. Avoid abrasive cleaners, polishing agents, brushes and ultrasonic cleaning devices, as they may damage the stones, plating or surface finish.
Storage
Store each piece separately in its original GT collection box or pouch.
Keeping jewelry separated helps prevent scratching, tangling and unnecessary contact with harder materials. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, humidity and heat.
Metals and Plating
Plated jewelry may naturally develop signs of wear or a subtle patina over time.
The speed of this process depends on factors such as skin chemistry, moisture, humidity, friction, cosmetics and how the jewelry is stored.
To preserve the finish:
- Keep plated surfaces dry.
- Avoid rubbing the piece against hard objects.
- Wipe away moisture and natural skin oils after wearing.
- Store the piece separately when not in use.
Natural wear of plating is part of the life of a frequently worn jewelry piece and is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Natural Gemstones
Every natural gemstone is unique.
Small variations in colour, pattern, texture, shape and size are part of the stone’s natural character and make each GT collection piece distinctive.
Although gemstones differ in hardness, they can still chip, scratch or break if dropped or exposed to strong impact. Always handle your jewelry carefully and avoid contact with hard surfaces.
Bracelets and Cords
When putting on or removing a bracelet, handle it gently and avoid pulling forcefully on the gemstones, elastic or adjustable cord.
Adjust the bracelet using the intended fastening or cord mechanism rather than stretching or twisting the piece.
A Final Note
Every GT collection piece is crafted and assembled with care. Due to the natural materials and hand-finished production, slight variations between pieces are expected and should be considered part of their individual character.
Wear it with intention. Care for it with respect.
We offer 180 days warranty on all products. If for some reason your bracelet still breaks within 180 days of receiving, even though you took care of it as described above, please send us an email to support@gt-collection.com and we will send you a free replacement.
